Commercial installations

We here at Lambourn not only cater for domestic installations, we are also fully trained and qualified in commercial flooring. Working with Altro, Polyflor & Nora we have trained in all aspects of commercial and safety flooring, rubber flooring and wall cladding systems.

Sheet vinyl & safety flooring. Sheet and safety flooring is required in many commercial settings, and from kitchens and walkways to wet rooms and surgery’s, we undertake all aspects of sheet flooring, from flat-lay installations to cove and cap wet rooms. We have trained at Altro & Fita and have undertaken many commercial project over the years including care homes, dentists and commercial kitchens. We are also able to undertake any bathroom to wet room conversions or specific wet room installations, with wall tiling or paneling also covered.

Commercial carpets. Over the years we have completed many commercial carpet projects, including pubs, spa’s, churches, and even yachts. With a vast array of commercial carpets available, and specific fitting systems for them, we are happy to talk through your project with you and guide you on the best suited carpet.

Ruba Flooring. We are please to have trained with Nora, who our the global leaders in rubber flooring. Rubber is great & unique product, with great environmental benefits. It offers a highly durable and hard wearing floor covering with added benefits of being environmentally friendly. Nora floor coverings are made of high-quality natural and industrial rubbers. They are mixed with minerals from natural sources and other components, such as vibrant colour pigments, pulled into blanks, pressed and then vulcanized under heat and high pressure. Thanks to the material’s elastic properties, the floors do not require any plasticizers.

Cork Flooring

A great environmental friendly product, that is making a comeback in recent years. Cork flooring is a unique and distinct floor covering, that is suitable in all areas of the home and even some commercial areas.

The material cork consists of the bark of the Cork Oak. The tree that grows in Portugal is peeled every 9 years – without having to fall or damage the tree. The material has many comfortable features, including sound insulation, foot warmth and pleasant walking and standing comfort. Thanks to modern technology, cork floors can be installed in the commercial sector and your home, you can even have bathroom cork flooring. Depending on the grade and class of the cork would depend on its suitability for commercial and wet areas. With any bathroom/wet area installation, the cork would need to be sealed with 2 coats of special varnish, that protects and seals the cork, leaving a water resistant finish.

Plastic & Rubber Interlocking Tiles

We have been working with Jaymart flooring for over 20 years now, who offer a great range of domestic and commercial flooring. With rubber and plastic flooring suitable for garages and warehouse. These floors are incredibly tough and durable and most of the ranges are oil resistant, making them ideal suited to any installation where vehicles are going to displayed & repaired. A lot of Jaymart’s interlocking tile systems are designed to be laid over existing surfaces and even existing flooring and come with interlocking ramps for doorways. Jaymart also offer a wide range of gym flooring. This is suitable for any gym with weight machines and also cardio machines.
